“It’s just about being you and being cool with that. And I think when you’re authentic, you end up following your heart, and you put yourself in places and situations and conversations that you love and that you enjoy. You meet people that you like talking to. You go places you’ve dreamt about. And you end up following your heart and feeling very fulfilled.” ― Carmine Gallo, Talk Like TED

Speakers who have more fun on the stage also give more genuine and heartfelt talks. There’s no point in comparing yourself to someone else or even mimicking a personality you admire.

As cliché as it sounds, just be yourself. You can’t be someone you’re not, therefore you must always focus on being the best presenter you can be. When you rehearse more, and when you internalize the content to the best of your ability, you allow yourself to be more fun and more authentic.
