If you’re looking to support people in Ukraine, here’s something I learned that can directly benefit a subset of entrepreneurs there.
Go to Etsy.com and use its ‘Search’ function to find sellers specifically in Ukraine who sell digital products. (Also, Etsy is waiving all Ukrainian seller fees in a show of support!) Here are some items to consider: knitting patterns, planner templates, digital art downloads, etc. Alternatively, you can also check some merch websites like Redbubble and Fine Art America and see if you can find Ukrainian artists there.
Even if the artist or designer is in another country right now due to the crisis, they should still be able to access the funds via this route. The artist location should make no difference for certain print-on-demand sales offshore. Plus, there’s absolutely no shipping/making anything with digital downloads.
This is one way to provide monetary help directly to a struggling small business owner or solopreneur there going through some challenging times right now.
