“Every thought you release becomes a permanent part of your character.” — Napoleon Hill

Thoughts are the starting point of all creation. Whether we like it or not, what we think consistently, manifests.

I’m sure you would’ve heard the adage “Thoughts are things.” It has been shown that every thought you release, positive or negative, is actually a form of energy that directly impacts the person on the receiving end. But still, an even more important thing to consider is that your thoughts have a significant impact on you. You become what you consistently think about.

This is why there are so many books written on the subject of thinking:

  • The Power of Positive Thinking
  • As a Man Thinketh
  • The Magic of Thinking Big
  • Think and Grow Rich
  • Thinking, Fast and Slow
  • Think Like a Monk

The list goes on and on.

The law of sowing and reaping applies here too. This law is a fundamental principle that governs what you will receive from life. The origin is from The Bible, however, it has many parallels to the Law of Attraction as well.

God established this law of sowing and reaping when He said, “Let everything bring forth after its kind”. And so, If you sow barley you’re not going to harvest wheat, and if you sow tomato seeds you won’t reap red peppers—it’s a law of sowing and reaping. You reap what you sow.

If you think about success around the clock, you condition your mind to look for nothing but success, and you attract large portions of it. On the flip side, if you think about failure and setbacks 24/7, you become more miserable and desperate day by day, bringing only despair and lost opportunities in your experience.

“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” ― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

The moment you find yourself stuck in the negativity loop, take a pause and get yourself in the neutral zone. Then make a conscious decision to eliminate whatever negative thoughts you encounter and replace them with their positive counterparts. This is the best way to keep your mind on a positive track and attract bigger, better, and brighter experiences in your life.
