richest blessings come from the greatest sorrows

“It is a comforting thought that trouble, in whatever form it comes to us, is a heavenly messenger that brings us something from God. Outwardly it may appear painful or even destructive, but inwardly its spiritual work produces blessings.”

― L.B. Cowman, Streams in the Desert

If you want to achieve long-term gains, you must go through short-term pains. This is the way of life.

There’s a popular quote by Dave Ramsey that I absolutely love, “Live like no one else so that later you can live and give like no one else.” It’s a great mantra for success and life that we can all live by.

Richest blessings are often the fruits of the greatest sorrows. In order to reap mighty rewards, you must be willing to make some deep sacrifices.

We will never experience perennial joy until we’re open, ready, able, and willing to tread the path of suffering. Be willing to pay the price, be willing to go through pains, discomforts, challenges, and trials — that’s the only way to receive the finest blessings the heavens and the earth have to offer!
