You and I are God’s servants. Every task we do, every duty we fulfill, is a small offering to Him. Yet how often do we forget this? We complain when our plans are interrupted, when we are asked to do something inconvenient or less appealing. We drag our feet through responsibilities and silently resist life’s demands, not realizing that in doing so, we fail to serve our true Master with love.

No master would be pleased with a servant who grumbles, avoids effort, or performs duties half-heartedly. In the same way, God is not served by reluctant obedience but by cheerful willingness. The spirit in which we work—our attitude of service—is what matters most to Him.

If we could see our daily work as sacred service, every chore, every challenge, and every interaction would take on new meaning. To serve God well is to do our work wholeheartedly, without complaint, without resentment, and with joy. It is to meet each task, great or small, with the quiet thought: “This too, I do for Him.”

Such a life transforms ordinary labor into worship. We become instruments of divine will—faithful, steady, and eager to serve. In serving cheerfully, we honor not only the work but the One who gave it to us.
