The idea behind the Law of Attraction is that if you believe good things will happen in your life, you make it more likely that those things will happen. The basic premise is like attracts like. And so, if you focus on positivity, things start going in your favor. However, the opposite is also true: if you dwell on negative and self-sabotaging thoughts and expect the worst in every situation, you increase the odds of things that you dread coming true.
Even though many people have success with the Law of Attraction, they also report that that the law doesn’t always deliver. Why is that? The main reason is that even though a person may think positive and uplifting thoughts, if this optimism is accompanied by negative feelings, then things go nowhere. Worse, this combination makes the person feel confused, frustrated, and inauthentic, almost like an impostor. Due to this, the person gets stuck in a negativity loop and success remains out of sight.
Although, here’s the good news! There’s another law that can help us overcome this problem: the Law of Vibration. According to this law, when you raise your state and radiate positive and joyful energy, your reality goes through a surge instantly and everything becomes positively charged as well. As a result, you attract positive and joyful things in your life.
While this might sound esoteric and far-fetched, it’s actually based on real science. Our bodies constitute atoms that vibrate at a certain frequency. And so, we can safely conclude that our thoughts and emotions must also vibrate.
As Bob Proctor writes, “Our thoughts, like everything else in the universe, are energy. And they vibrate at different frequencies depending on the nature of the thought. Our thoughts are cosmic waves that are so powerful that they penetrate all space and time. And our thoughts and feelings control the vibration of our body.”
He further adds, “We have the power to dictate the frequency of our being by choosing and directing our thoughts. Your emotional states dictate the vibration that your body is in. And, to a large extent, these vibrations dictate how you experience life because they set up resonance with anything that is on the same frequency.”
As per the law, joyful, kind, and loving emotions have a high vibrational frequency, whereas angry, hateful, and depressed emotions always vibrate at a low frequency.
Understanding and tapping into these vibrational states can be a game-changer in our lives. By aligning with the right vibrations, we can influence the world around us and change our reality in an instant. When our emotions start vibrating at a higher rate, everyone and everything around us naturally starts to vibrate at a higher rate as well. It’s a law. And so, when we keep our vibrations high, our reality responds accordingly and we experience a beautiful outcome: the external world becomes more bright, joyful, and loving.
